Pride Month is an annual month-long celebration of all identities which fall under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. It is about self-love, celebration of achievements, education, protest, and allyship. This factsheet will answer some frequently asked questions about Pride Month and Pride, as well as discuss how organisations can get involved and show their support.

Whilst the UK has many successes for developing LGBTQ+ equality; from equal rights for adoption for same-sex couples, as well as changing the law to allow same-sex couples to marry, we also know that LGBTQ+ people continue to face significant barriers in and outside the workplace.
