Wow, Inclusioneers! Together we have had a recording breaking National Inclusion Week 2023.

National Inclusion Week 2023 recorded over 9,400 participants – a huge 49% increase on 2022. That means 9,400 of you registered, used the toolkit, kept up-to-date with our newsletters and most importantly embraced the theme of Taking Action, Making Impact – thank you so much.

The Marcomms team here at Inclusive Employers were kept busy and this year shared 222 social media posts on LinkedIn and Twitter, sent out 42 newsletters, created 10 promotional videos and produced 15 National Inclusion Week 2023 blogs.

Connecting millions on social media

It was amazing to see all your inclusion activity lighting up our social media feeds during the week, and indeed throughout September. Across the month, our National Inclusion Week 2023 campaign had a social reach of 28.1 million, a massive 462% increase from 2022.

Here at Inclusive Employers, we loved seeing the different inclusion initiatives you took to celebrate National Inclusion Week 2023. Here are some highlights from this year’s social shares, including inspiring BSL activity from Marks and SpencerCAFs work to empower its female colleagues and Virgin Money’s BRAVER campaign.

Engaging events

Our National Inclusion Week 2023 daily webinar programme is an important part of the week, and gives us the opportunity to discuss and share best practice on key inclusion topics.

This year over 1, 260 inclusioneers joined our seven daily webinars. Of these the most popular topics were Challenging Anti-Wokeness and Building the case for I&D, Take Action: Recruit Inclusively for a Diverse Workplace and our Global event, Taking Action: cultural awareness.

In addition to these webinars, our inclusion experts delivered 110 inspiring in-house training sessions to 55 different organisations.
