Webinar overview
The BLM movement shook the world in 2020 following the tragic death of George Floyd, with sport taking a strong stand in unity against racism. As we move towards creating anti-racist organisations in sport and physical activity (SPA), we need to understand the history and current landscape for ethnically diverse people across all aspects of our sector, from the board room to the playing field.
What will you learn
- The history of racism and under representation in SPA, how and why we have got to this position?
- The impact of structural and systemic inequalities on ethnically diverse communities
- Key learnings from the TRARIIS review
- What individuals and organisations should do now
Who is this for?
- Anyone with an interest in learning more about race and racism in the sport sector
- Sport sector I&D professionals
- Sport sector leaders
