  • Supporting colleagues through loss

Dealing with the death of someone close is an event that shapes us. Despite the large number of people who are grieving, most of us still find it difficult to support those who are struggling. It’s one of those delicate, taboo, and difficult topics, and many of us believe we lack the courage and abilities to provide ‘the correct’ support. This webinar aims to give the confidence and knowledge to be there for people and provide the support they need in the workplace.

  • Living, and Working With Long COVID

Long covid is an illness which is still being studied and currently has no internationally-agreed definition. The symptoms are varied and can be debilitating, even for young, fit people, or those who did not go to hospital when they had COVID-19 symptoms initially.

In this webinar we will be exploring what is meant by long covid and identify practical ways organisations can support colleagues who have long covid.

Supporting hidden carers at work and home

This year during Carers Week we are helping to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities. It’s also an opportunity to shine a light on what caring is to help people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as careers and access the resources available to them.

Carers support friends and family with a disability, mental or physical illness, addiction, or who need extra support as they grow older. The challenges for these individuals are often overlooked in the workplace, but we know that caring can have a huge impact on a person’s working and personal life.

Carers develop a whole range of skills that are an asset to any organisation, and we should focus on how we can support, retain and uplift carers in the workplace.
