Many organisations struggle with having a diverse and proportional representation in their workforce, despite having the best intentions. Why is this the case? There are many barriers which marginalised people face when seeking employment, so if your aim is to have a truly diverse and inclusive workplace, start at the beginning. Make your application process accessible, signal that your organisation is a safe space, show up through your business practices and policies and remove barriers from the interview process. These are all ways you can ensure you are recruiting inclusively.

This webinar is hosted by Sharon Cooper and Debbie Epstein, I&D experts from Inclusive Employers.

Sharon joined Inclusive Employers in July 2021 and brought with her 21 years of implementing meaningful learning interventions. With over 11 years experience of working in the Housing Sector in the UKs first Mutual Housing Association, Sharon had led on various innovative cultural and leadership programmes all designed to help colleagues be their best self at work and deliver the best service possible to their customers. Debbie has 17 years’ working in inclusion. Formerly Head of Inclusion at King’s College London, she joined Inclusive Employers in 2017 where she manages a wide portfolio of members and delivers training and consultancy services.
