Take Action: Protect your Mental Health from I&D Burnout

Webinar overview
This webinar is part of our National Inclusion Week programme.
Learn more, here.
If you work in the Inclusion and Diversity space, you are probably aware of how easy it is to burn out in this line of work. Whether its due to budget constraints, lack of buy in from leadership, lack of capacity and resources, giving too much of yourself or all of these things and more, it can be all too easy to suddenly find yourself burned out and struggling with your mental health.
In this sector, we need to be really mindful to set boundaries and self care. As the old saying goes ‘you can’t pour from an empty cup’. We can only make change and impact for others when we are taking care of ourselves first. This means that we can’t always get all the things we want done at once, or we have to take smaller steps to achieve bigger goals, and that’s okay.
This webinar is hosted by Farhanah Iqbal, I&D expert from Inclusive Employers.
Farhanah is Head of Mental Health And Wellbeing at Inclusive Employers. She brings over 12 years of experience from the mental health sector, specialising in crisis management; as well as specialist I&D roles across the voluntary care sector, criminal justice sector and in higher education. Find out more about Farhanah.
