CMI Level 6 Award in Leading Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
The Level 6 Award prepares and equips inclusive managers and leaders to lead inclusion and diversity with confidence within their organisation and beyond.
What is a Level 6 Award?
The Level 6 Award is aimed at those leading or delivering their organisation’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) strategy or those who can influence policy and culture change.
The course has a critical lens, focusing learners on applying their knowledge and skills to their specific organisational context. It is ideal for EDI & People Professionals.
What will learners get out of this CMI Level 6 qualification?
Learners will explore the business case and legal framework for EDI, critically analysing the opportunities and challenges of adopting inclusive practices in specific organisational contexts. This builds the learner’s capability to identify the most compelling case for and challenges to inclusion, a key component to creating support for change.
Learners will critically assess an organisation’s EDI landscape, including how EDI is supported, current priorities, leadership behaviours and cultural aspects, assessing the overall capability to sustain a culture of inclusion. Learners will understand the positive components and identify gaps across these aspects, proposing what needs to change.
