CMI Level 7 Award in Strategic Approaches to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

The Chartered Management Institute  Level 7 Award in  Strategic Approaches to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, provides an in-depth understanding of EDI at a senior strategic level.

What is a Level 7 Award?

The Level 7 Award is aimed at organisational decision-makers. It provides an in-depth understanding of EDI at a strategic level. The strategic focus of this unit may also be appealing to Senior EDI Professionals.

Leaders explore structural in-equity, discuss approaches to comply with legal and good practices and explore how to develop and land strategic priorities for EDI.

What will learners get out of this CMI Level 7 qualification?

During this qualification, learners will …

  • Critically assess structural inequity within an organisational and societal context
  • Explore the business case for good practice in EDI
  • Consider the influence of EDI on the strategic objectives of an organisation
  • Appraise data and information to inform strategic EDI priorities
  • Develop a strategy to embed strategic EDI priorities

How long does it take to complete the qualification?

There are three days of training, delivered virtually. Delegates must supplement the training with self-directed study and attendance at webinars. It can take 40 – 60 hours to complete the qualification over a year.

How is the Level 7 qualification assessed?

The assessment is typically in written assignment format. Different options are available to support accessibility requirements. The assignment is split into tasks totalling 4000 words.

Our excellent in-house team provide student support and feedback on drafts before final submission to the CMI.

What is the cost?

The cost for one delegate to attend an open session is £1,495 +VAT (members discount 10%)

In-house cohorts are an excellent approach for those with a group of delegates. In-house cohorts can be tailored to suit your inclusion approach. One cohort can host up to 12 delegates at a cost of £14,500 +VAT, saving 20%.

Additional discounts are available for those booking multiple cohorts, up to 40% off.
