Lisa is a Senior Business Development Consultant. Her background is in Media and she worked in many industries, initially in gardening, then the photography, classic cars and modified cars industry, followed by classic aviation, and finally switching to a challenging B2B position in the Fleet Industry, where for 13 years, their experience massively grew as they were working with key motor manufacturers and their advertising agencies on their campaigns that spanned a wide range of media.

In 2024 she decided to move out of the Media arena, and into the very rewarding world of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion working for Inclusive Employers.

What do you enjoy about your role at Inclusive Employers?

Having built my career for the most part in a media environment, I was excited by joining Inclusive Employers as I am doing what I know and love, whilst gaining experience in a completely new area, an area that makes a real difference.

Inclusive employers lead by example and I have now seen first-hand how beneficial it is to embrace an inclusive and diverse approach to make an employee feel comfortable right from the outset. From the moment I joined Inclusive Employers I was welcomed and made to feel comfortable by everyone who works here.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

So I have a couple of bits of advice I benefitted from. In life sometimes you must take a step back in to order to move forwards, and a comfort zone is a beautiful place but nothing ever grows there. Life improves when you put things into perspective, sometimes we don’t always look at things from the right point of view which can make us feel a certain way, if we just change the way we view things that happen in life it opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

Tell us something about you that we might not know

I grew up with a love of fast cars and motorcycles, in fact pretty much almost anything with an engine that gives you an adrenaline rush. I love Formula 1 and own a Yamaha R6 motorcycle.
