Kate joined Inclusive Employers in January 2023 as a Senior Inclusion & Diversity Consultant, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the Inclusion, Access and Participation field.

Kate has led transformational change programmes through a person-centred and evidenced-based approach and is experienced in embedding inclusion through strategy, policy, process and specific learning interventions that enable individuals and teams identify and realise their full potential.

Kate has experience in the private and public sectors having worked in the UK and overseas and is also a performance coach and volunteer mentor.

What do you enjoy about your role at Inclusive Employers?

There’s so much to enjoy as there’s such variety in the work that we do. I do feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to work with such a diverse membership base. Companies from across the globe and cross industry too, all working tirelessly to make their environments more inclusive – the shared practice that members benefit from in being part of Inclusive Employers is incredible. I also get to work alongside unbelievable talent in my peers, and our Inclusive Employers associates which enables me to keep challenging myself, keep learning and growing as I continue to move through my own inclusion journey.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Keep it simple!

Tell us something about you that we might not know

I love music, laughter, nature and water (the beach, swimming, hearing laughter, feeling laughter, that sort of thing) – in fact they make my soul glow. I simply can’t live without these elements in my life and I grasp every opportunity to search these out in my life or create them whichever comes first.
