Emily’s expertise in health and behavioural research has fuelled their involvement in numerous large-scale global research projects designed to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in both public and private sector services.
After earning their PhD in 2018, they received the prestigious Cameron Award from the FINA World Medical Congress in 2016 for their groundbreaking research findings.
At Inclusive Employers, Emily has spearheaded several high-impact projects that exemplify their commitment to inclusivity. A standout achievement includes their collaboration with Youth Cancer Europe to create the first Pan-European inclusion toolkit tailored for healthcare providers and researchers.
In addition, Emily led the creation of the innovative Bitesize Toolkit for Team Learning, a training tool designed to empower teams, enhance their capabilities in real-world situations, and address the critical challenges of training frontline staff effectively. Through their leadership of the Inclusive Employers Standard, Emily empowers organisations of all sizes to pinpoint their key areas of focus and develop actionable plans that drive impactful, meaningful, and sustainable workplace inclusion.
