Ellie Poltorak - Inclusive Employers

Ellie joined us in July 2023 as the Finance Director of Inclusive Employers. In her role, along with the other board members, she will be focused on delivering the growth aspirations of the company and supporting the wider business as we continue to grow into one of the world’s leading inclusion and diversity experts, helping employers across all sectors build inclusive workplaces around the globe.

Ellie trained as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst and Young in London on the Corporate Finance graduate scheme, where she had various roles in Business Modelling, Economic Advisory and Private Equity Transaction Support. In her 10 years post qualification, she has held several senior finance roles, the latter half in Private Equity portfolio companies, supporting businesses following investment.

What do you enjoy about your role at Inclusive Employers?

The passion, engagement and quality of our team is unrivalled. It is incredible to be part of a company with such high aspirations of impact, to see change happening around us is inspiring and unique.

What has been your biggest achievement to date?

Juggling a career and having two young children – it’s certainly challenging but I’m very proud of what I have achieved and the example I am setting for them.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Trust your gut and instincts, they’re usually right.

Tell us something about you that we might not know.

I am a pretty open book, so you get to know me pretty quickly. I am not ashamed to say I am a bit of a Taylor Swift fan, but we all have our guilty pleasures!
