Inclusion Survey Tool

Our inclusivity survey is a tool for organisations with 500+ staff, to help quantify organisational progress towards inclusion.

In our experience, many of our clients highlight the challenge of measuring inclusion in a meaningful way. This tool provides the answer.

What is our inclusivity survey?

Our diversity and inclusion survey is a digital product that can be accessed on a range of devices.

While diversity is measurable, the numbers alone can’t tell the whole story. Many organisations understand the mix of people in their workplace however struggle to understand why they don’t represent their customer base or local community. Or why diverse talent isn’t progressing up the organisation.

When you measure diversity within an organisation, it doesn’t give insight into the lived experience of diverse employees.

Understanding those experiences is central to identifying the right interventions to grow inclusion and to create an environment attractive to diverse talent.

We know inclusion can drive business performance and underpins the environment needed to benefit from diverse thinking and backgrounds.

Take the inclusion survey and learn how inclusive your organisation is, and what to focus on next.

How do you send out the survey and how long does it take?

The survey can be accessed on all devices by a link or a QR code. Completion of the survey takes between five and 10 minutes. We advise clients to have the survey open for two weeks. Once closed the initial summary output report will be ready within two weeks. Additional service timelines can be agreed upon separately.

Which questions do you ask?

We ask 20 questions about the lived experience of employees and a set of diversity demographic questions. This allows us to provide results for different groups.

The question set is standard. While we add your organisation’s name and some context information to the opening page, we do not change the survey questions.

Open questions can be included where the insights packages are purchased. Survey questions can be removed on request. To explore the question set, book a call with one of our consultants.

What groups will I get a result for, and what does the report look like?

The report will give insight into the below groups, providing there are enough completions to make the result for each group statistically relevant. The full set is included as standard. You can choose to opt-out of any.

  • Biological sex (sex on the birth certificate)
  • Transgender and non-binary
  • Sexual orientation
  • Race & Ethnicity
  • Disability
  • Neurodiversity (Autism, ADHA, Dyslexia)
  • Mental ill-health
  • Low socio-economic background
  • Parents & carers
  • Age (in generation brackets)
  • Role seniority (non-managers, managers, leaders)
