An inclusive culture starts with empowered individuals.
Our Inclusion Allies training programme support organisations in embedding inclusive practices by training a dedicated cohort of 20-40 Inclusion Allies. These allies will promote inclusion and support for marginalised, or vulnerable colleagues. They will also help create a united and inclusive workplace culture.
Why is investing in Inclusion Allies important?
A sustainable culture of inclusion relies heavily on Inclusion Allies. Our programme enables organisations to recruit, train, and empower allies to actively champion diversity, equity, and inclusion. This comprehensive training equips allies to:
- Gain a clear understanding of the essential values, behaviours, and actions of an Inclusion Ally.
- Consider the impact of privilege and influence, examining unconscious bias and where their limits lie.
- Use frameworks to address exclusion and manage challenging discussions.
- Develop individual and team plans for daily, inclusive practices
- Become role models for inclusion
Programme benefits

Skilled inclusion experts lead our Inclusion Allies Training Program. You can adjust it to meet your organisation’s needs and schedules.
We provide a mix of live and recorded sessions. We also offer interactive workshops and guided resources. This helps maximize learning and engagement. Our goal is to create effective allies.
Key programme components:
Consultancy support: Assistance in defining the Inclusion Ally role, along with guidance for recruitment and setting expectations.
Interactive training sessions: Two half-day workshops for each cohort, spread several weeks apart, providing actionable takeaways between sessions.
Ongoing support: Optional facilitated workshops, monthly surgeries, or action learning groups for sustained development and skill-building.

The Inclusion Allies Training Programme lasts four weeks. It includes self-paced activities, group learning, and hands-on exercises.

- Discussion of privilege, power, and influence within the workplace, identifying how allies can leverage these positively.

Making a difference with Inclusion Allies
Feedback from our past participants of our Inclusion Allies programme:
“Great to have a programme that gave a safe space to talk, listen and take time to really stop and reflect as well as look inwards, I really believe until you look inwards it’s difficult then to look outwards and be a true Ally.”
“I found it useful because it gave me insight on how to approach the conversations with others and how I can conduct myself in a way that is open to changing language and approach. It also helped me realise it is okay to get it wrong as long as I learn from it.”
“Great content on understanding the topic areas and helping me understand my own level of privilege and my initial level of bias and microaggression.”
