This two-day course is for those who hire and want to attract talent and create a fair recruitment process. It helps improve how you find and hire the best diverse candidates.
Designed to provide recruiters, in all industries, a comprehensive understanding of both inclusive recruitment theory and practice.
Participants do not need prior knowledge of Equality, Diversity, or Inclusion. By the end of this course, they will demonstrate their ability to apply inclusive approaches in real recruitment situations.
Attending this course provides candidates with a CMI Accreditation. There are no assessments.
Course content
Students will attend four sessions to learn why inclusive approaches are essential. They will also participate in workshops to improve inclusivity in the recruitment process.
- Basic concepts of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, including the value of doing this work and the legislation.
- Foundational concepts: Discussions and case studies explore how to apply equality legislation in recruitment scenarios.
- Learn how to attract and hire diverse people by creating an inclusive job advertisement and recruitment strategy.
- Design inclusive assessment and selection methods for a vacancy.
Course duration
The training team delivers two virtual or face-to-face live training days in London.
