Tanisha brings a wealth of experience to her role as Senior Inclusion and Diversity Consultant. Before joining Inclusive Employers, Tanisha worked in the Education sector including higher, further and secondary Education. She has worked on several large-scale projects including developing I&D strategy and policy.

Tanisha’s background is in History with an MA in Race and Resistance looking at racism through time. This experience and knowledge helped to support her as the Chair of the Race Equality Forum, whilst working at the Luminate Education Group.

What do you enjoy about your role at Inclusive Employers?

Meeting all our lovely members and sharing their I&D journey with them. The team here are all amazing and so supportive it makes coming to work a joy!

What has been your biggest achievement to date?

I have to say completing a masters in Race and Resistance. It was the hardest thing I have done to date. However more recently returning to work after maternity leave. It is such a huge transition leaving you feeling all kinds of emotions. So much support is needed for you to come back after this life changing thing.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Be in the moment… in a world that is obsessed with documenting everything via social media, put the phone down and take it all in!
