What do you enjoy about your role at Inclusive Employers?

No two days are ever the same, and since starting my new role as Members’ Services Manager and Membership Officer, I’ve been able to support the business a little more behind the scenes. I aim to ensure the service we provide to our members as part of their membership is an excellent experience, constantly looking for ways to improve our offering, as well as supporting the Members Services’ team on Members Desk and with our online/offline events. I also oversee the planning, release, updates, and quality assurance of our online resources, which is a huge part of our membership offering.

I also very much enjoy being a part of a really inclusive and diverse team that is fast-paced, supportive, and super friendly!

What has been your biggest achievement to date?

I wouldn’t say I have one biggest achievement as such as I believe it’s the many experiences I have encountered throughout life that have led me to where I am today. I continue to learn, grow and achieve.

Inclusion and diversity have always been a passion of mine from a young age and have been a part of my life in both a personal capacity (with my own personal journey) as well as a professional capacity (with the different volunteer opportunities and job posts I have held within the social/support/HR sector). Being able to take my passion of wanting to support people and make a different and implement this into my professional life has allowed me to find my true passion.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

I really like to live by the quote: “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. It reminds me to bring my best-self daily, as well as to see the best in others and the world, (even when this can sometimes be challenging!). I like to always try and remain positive!
