About Puja

Puja joined Inclusive Employers in June 2025 as a Senior Consultant. In this role, she is responsible for supporting organisations through their inclusion journeys, helping them embed equitable and inclusive practices across all levels.

Experience

Puja brings over 15 years of experience in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and People-focused roles, having worked with leading global organisations across Asia, Africa, and the UK. Her career spans the private, public, and charity sectors, with a blend of in-house and consultancy expertise.

Skills

Puja holds a degree in English Literature and an MBA with dual specialisations in Human Resources and Marketing. She is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner in Project Management and a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).

Previously, Puja worked as a People Consultant at a top-tier global management consulting firm, where she led HR workstreams for digital transformation projects in the banking sector. Her focus areas included scaling recruitment, driving change management, and embedding inclusive practices. She developed deep expertise in inclusive hiring, inclusive communications, and inclusive learning strategies.

Beyond her professional roles, Puja has been a dedicated volunteer for over 15 years with various organisations in India and the UK. This work has enriched her understanding of power, equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice in both local and global contexts.

Achievements

In recent years, Puja has led the development and implementation of the first-ever EDI strategy for one of England’s largest multi-academy trusts. She also played a pivotal role in advancing EDI initiatives at the UK’s largest housing association, delivering measurable impact across both education and housing sectors.
