Project Coordinator
Flo is a Project Coordinator at Inclusive Employers, where she supports the smooth delivery of projects and helps bring the organisation’s vision of a fairer, more inclusive world to life. She has always been passionate about diversity and challenging the status quo, and is committed to making a meaningful and lasting impact through her work.
Before joining Inclusive Employers, Flo worked in the pharmaceutical industry, where she led the delivery of custom-built software used in the development of life-changing treatments, including the COVID-19 vaccine.
With over four years of experience in project management, Flo has successfully coordinated a wide range of client-facing and internal projects. Her career has strengthened her ability to balance priorities, stay organised, and build strong, collaborative relationships.
Flo takes a people-focused approach to project leadership, drawing on Agile methodologies as well as elements of PRINCE2 and PMP to ensure that every project is delivered on time and with measurable impact.
Flo holds a BSc in Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity (2:1 with Honours). Her dissertation, “How have cyber forensics and cyber security aided women’s liberation and feminist issues, and how will they continue to develop alongside changing attitudes towards women’s issues in the future?”, reflects her interest in using technology and research to drive social progress.
Flo has previously been Clifton Strengths coach, supporting colleagues in identifying and harnessing their talents to work more effectively as individuals and teams. With her last employer, Flo also served as the main point of contact for some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, consistently earning excellent client feedback and strengthening long-term relationships.
Flo has presented at PHUSE EU Connect 2022 and 2023, winning Best Poster in 2022 for “The Scrum Mindset”, having been hand-picked by d-Wise and Instem to represent them at the conference. She has also completed a part-time 12-month leadership course designed to develop and enhance core leadership skills.
During her university years, Flo was an active member of the Hackathon Society and took on the role of President and lead organiser for its annual Hackathon event, which welcomed over 100 students, volunteers, and sponsors.
