About Dawn

Dawn Osbourne is a Senior Consultant at Inclusive Employers. She brings over 20 years of experience in the technology sector and more than a decade working within equity, diversity, and inclusion. Throughout her career, Dawn has been driven by a commitment to fairness and belonging, helping organisations move beyond words and policies to create cultures where people feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes that meaningful change comes through open conversations, practical action, and leaders who are willing to listen and be accountable.

Experience

Dawn has worked with global organisations and senior leadership teams to design and deliver culture change programmes that not only raise awareness but also deliver measurable results. She is a trusted advisor and a confident partner, known for her ability to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and help leaders connect inclusion with their wider business goals. She brings both strategic insight and a grounded, human approach, ensuring that change is felt across every level of an organisation.

Skills

With a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dawn combines professional expertise with empathy, integrity, and emotional intelligence. This unique blend allows her to navigate complex organisational dynamics with sensitivity while still driving bold conversations and embedding inclusion in sustainable ways. She is skilled at working with resistance, building trust, and helping teams and leaders move from good intentions to meaningful action.

Achievements

Beyond her consultancy work, Dawn has always been deeply connected to education and community. She served as a Trustee at the ESP Foundation for 3 years, an organisation focused on providing educational and sporting opportunities for young people from all backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities. She now serves as a Parent Governor, where she advocates for inclusive and balanced approaches to teaching Relationships, Sex, and Health Education. Her work in these roles reflects her belief that inclusion starts early and that children and young people deserve to grow up in environments that affirm their identities and nurture their potential.

Dawn has also won the Outstanding Advocate for DEI award at the Caribbean Global Awards 2025.

Values and Future Focus

At the heart of Dawn’s work is a desire to widen opportunities for underrepresented groups. She is committed to increasing the presence of minority talent in leadership, ensuring that future generations, including her own son, see themselves reflected in positions of influence and decision-making. Dawn is currently exploring ways to partner with organisations and brands to expand representation in areas such as sales and leadership development, where barriers remain. She believes that change requires courage as well as accountability, and she continues to champion approaches that create real progress rather than performative gestures.
