Engaging and adaptable content

Our Introduction to Inclusion and Diversity course is 30 minutes long. This is the optimum time for maximising engagement online. The content is fun and engaging, which makes learning more memorable.

The content can adapt to a range of individual learning needs, making it an accessible and inclusive solution. Employees can also take the course at a time that suits their individual diary.

An effective approach for large groups

Online learning is an efficient way to reach large groups of people. It brings them all to the same level of learning and can be a great conversation starter in larger organisations. This can be particularly beneficial for raising awareness of inclusion and diversity.

It is also a perfect tool for including in your onboarding process.

A great approach for remote learning

If your employees work in different locations and remotely, eLearning can help overcome any barriers they may face.

Trackable

This learning is trackable, so it’s easy to see who has completed it.

When to use eLearning

eLearning is a fantastic learning solution, as the benefits above highlight.

We recommend pairing this approach with other team activities. For instance, creating manager toolkits and guides to use in team meetings to prompt conversations about the learning.

Course content

We’ve designed our Introduction to Inclusion and Diversity to kick start your employee’s inclusion journey.

The interactive course will give learners a basic understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion and why it matters.

It covers four topics:

  • What inclusion and diversity is?
  • The law and how to get it right.
  • Understanding bias.
  • Everyday inclusion.

The course has set content, but you can add your logo, an opening page with comments and a “what’s next” page. The design is accessible and uses a calm colour palette.

We recommend that organisations include the optional learner knowledge check at the end of the course.

You own the file and can upload it onto your learning management system; there is no licensing fee.
