Mental Health First Aid Adult 2-Day (MHFA Adult) is an internationally recognised course
MHFA Adult won't teach you how to be a therapist, but you'll be able to say you're a Mental Health First Aider.
Robyn Lewis, our instructor will run the programme over two consecutive days. The days will be a mix of presentation, group discussions and group work activities.
The MHFA Adult course is split up into 4 manageable chunks.
What is mental health?
Anxiety and depression
In each section you'll learn how to:
Spot the early signs of a mental health problem
Feel confident helping someone experiencing a mental health problem
Provide help on a first aid basis
Guide someone towards the right support
Reduce the stigma of mental health problems
We limit the programme will run with 8-18 delegates.
