Suicidal thoughts are far more common than many people think, but talking about suicide can still feel like the ultimate taboo. Workplaces play a crucial role in promoting mental wellbeing, spotting suicide risks and intervening to keep people safe and prevent suicide. In this session Michelle and Amy share their lived experience and insights to support individuals and organisations to prevent and respond to suicide risk.

This event is hosted by Amy Gibbons and Michelle Daltry, I&D experts from Inclusive Employers.

Amy is the Head of Member Services for Inclusive Employers, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked in inclusion since 2016. As Head of Involvement and Inclusion at a large homelessness charity, she led the design and implementation of their I&D Strategy. Find out more about Amy.

Michelle is the Head of Sport at Inclusive Employers. Michelle was the Partnership Manager for Disability Sport Wales, a post that she held for over 19 years, before joining the team. As an Inclusion and Diversity specialist within the field of sport and physical activity, Michelle is passionate about supporting the sector to address inequalities within the workplace and out in the field of play.
