    LGBT+ Inclusion in Customer Service 

    In partnership with Liverpool City Council, we are delighted to host this webinar for businesses in Liverpool to support them during the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. This webinar is also open to all of our member organisations, free of charge.  

    Whilst progress has been made over the past few decades, LGBTQ+ individuals still face discrimination and harassment across the UK and globally. Many businesses are keen to support the LGBTQ+ community but lack the basic skills to understand how to get LGBTQ+ inclusion right. This webinar will introduce you to the basics of LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace and in customer service to ensure you are offering an inclusive welcome to LGBTQ+ customers every time.

You want to provide a warm, inclusive welcome but you may fear saying the wrong thing or worry about how to communicate when there are language barriers or cultural differences. This webinar will introduce you to the importance of intercultural communication and more importantly, it will give you the basic skills to communicate effectively and inclusively with customers from a diverse mix of backgrounds.
