This Black History Month, join us in an exploration of the theme “Reclaiming the Narrative.” This webinar is dedicated to empowering Black voices to tell their own stories, acknowledging the rich tapestry of Black history, and highlighting Black communities’ ongoing struggles and triumphs. Through remembrance, recognition, and resistance, we will delve into Black individuals and communities’ vital contributions and enduring resilience.

This webinar is hosted by Ruth-Anne Eghan, I&D expert from Inclusive Employers.

Ruth-Anne Eghan is an Inclusion and Diversity Consultant. Ruth-Anne has developed and delivered I&D training on cultural awareness and inclusion and diversity strategy within recruitment. During this time, she has completed an MA in Human Resources Management with Keele University, as well as gaining an Associate Membership with the CIPD. Find out more about Ruth-Anne.

  • Actionable steps organisations can take to reclaim the narrative, break systemic bias, and address the ripple effects of colonialism.
  • How to create and support initiatives that amplify Black voices, ensure diverse representation in leadership, implement anti-racist policies, and foster an inclusive culture that values and celebrates Black identities and histories.
  • Explore ways to decolonise the workplace, promoting an environment that actively challenges and dismantles colonial legacies and practices.
  • Strategies for empowerment of Black staff members.
