Black History Month: Exploring the theme “Honouring Our Communities”

Webinar overview:
Black History Month 2026’s theme, “Honouring Our Communities,” invites organisations to recognise the individuals, networks, and communities whose everyday contributions shape, support, and strengthen workplaces and society across the UK. It is an opportunity not only to celebrate Black history, culture, and achievement, but also to reflect on how organisations can actively create more equitable, inclusive, and antiracist workplaces year-round.
This engaging and practical webinar will explore what this year’s theme means in a workplace context and how organisations can move beyond performative activity toward meaningful action. Participants will examine how to celebrate Black History Month in ways that are authentic, educational, and inclusive, while also identifying tangible steps organisations can take to address racial inequity, improve representation, and strengthen accountability.
What you will learn:
- Understand the theme “Honouring Our Communities”
- Analyse race dynamics in the UK in 2026
