1. Can you tell us how you came to be in your role?
Having spent over ten years working in I&D, I wanted to be able to share my experience and insights with others who want to make positive change within their organisations.
2. Can you share an ‘inclusion moment’ with us – a time when you have felt included either at work or in your personal life?
I joined my current hockey club around five years ago. I’d given up playing as my old team at my previous club no longer existed and it didn’t really work well with my home life.
Since joining them I have felt like a valued member of the team and club, which has not only improved my performance on the hockey pitch (I hope!), but my social life too. I love my hockey family!

3. What do you love most about your role?
I love meeting new people and supporting them to achieve their objectives – no matter how big or small!
4. What is a typical day like for you?
I don’t think there is a typical one to be honest. Days can be very varied in this role – I get to meet new members, design and deliver training for existing members and when time allows, I like to connect with my colleagues and find out what they are doing.
5. What’s been your most memorable moment in your inclusion career?
Bringing staff networks from different parts of my organisation across the UK together in one place to learn, connect and network with Senior Leadership to define their purpose and how to collaborate successfully together.
