Positive Action | Positive Action is the term used to describe the special activities that employers may take within the law aimed at reducing the disadvantage or under-representation experienced by those with any of the protected characteristics below: - Age - Disability - Gender reassignment - Marriage and civil partnership - Pregnancy and maternity - Race (including ethnic or national origins, colour and nationality) - Religion of belief (including lack of belief) - Sex - Sexual orientation.
