Legal Masterclass - The Equality Act case law and guidance

Add to Calendar
Wednesday, November 21, 2012 - 14:30 to 17:00

Where: DAC Beachcroft Central London

This legal seminar, brought to you by Inclusive Employers and DAC Beachcroft, will provide a review of recent developments, analyse emerging case law, present risk areas for employers and give an insight into what the future holds in this tricky area of law. Giving unique insights into how employers should respond to allegations and manage discrimination claims and guidance on how to avoid costly and damaging litigation, this  interactive session is highly recommended for employers of all sizes and from all sectors.

When the Equality Act came into force in October 2010,  a raft of new provisions came into effect and many predicted that it would add extra burden on employers and lead to an increase in tribunal claims. Since then the coalition Government have proposed a range of amendments and other measures, all pertinent to shaping an effective people strategy. Understanding and planning for what lies ahead is valuable, and indeed essential, in maximising opportunities and minimising risk.
